I kind of wish thats all I had to deal with - lol!
Later on there are a lot worse things in your way than a few annoying scorps
(To answer your question: The Scorpions are only in a few locations on the map. The next area you will go into will be Snow and then Jungle, no Scorps there).

In the jungle you have to worry about quite of few other things jumping out at you.

Coming out of the ground and from trees. Enjoy!

Or when one party member decides to flee - but in a direction you have not been yet, because it looks safe. lol!
It's like a cartoon. When someone runs off down a passage and then comes running back faster with a whole world of nasties on their tail. - Leads to some enjoyable, panic party deaths. lol!

I suppose GW needs more monsters or really hard boss monsters for rare items

...ever heard of soloing against Glint? That will be a definet challenge for even the smarmiest of players! Also, try and search somewhere for a level 40 moinster and WITHOUT having a party or Henchies try and kill that. Oh, and kill those Charr in the Althea's Ashes quest

Not being funny, but just try and get through more of the game by yourself and see the difficulty rise.

Those things are nothing. I was doing a mission last night, and I took this path behind a house on the left. I go down this path and see one Hellhound off on the left. There's a bunch of stuff just out of range of the radar, but plenty of room to work. So ok, I move into range and as soon as I get near this place, like 4 mobs spring up from the ground. Next thing I know, those huge groups of mobs from both sides come swarming at me. Ouch. Doesn't help there's the casters who turn corpses into bone minions to create even more mobs to fight.

lol...I remember ashes. I was level 12 at the time and the rest of the team was made up of 10s and 11s. I swear this must be a mission for lvl 20s. We died over and over and over, until we thinned out the multitude of Charr. With those Shaman, it's tough to get through....at the end, me and a Warrior subverted the attention of the last remaining group of charr and another Warrior, ran through to spread the ashes just before he died. That's how we got through the mission.

It was extremely difficult, but it was worth it to laugh about it after we had completed the mission.

Scorpions are the least of your concerns as the storyline progresses.

Indeed, the diversity of monsters in the beginning maps are not very well-done. Seems a bit rushed. The end-game though gets a bit better.

stay on the map and they will not respawn. reenter the map and they will respawn every time. the maps are all static in that respect.

closed.
